• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Temptation Again

I was over at American Powerports Monday to talk to Phil about the VMC Club meeting this Thursday. Wouldn't you know it they have a new 2014 RT-S in Pearl White sitting right in front of his office. I of course had to give it a static sit test in the showroom. Now I'm craving getting a real road test on it. I'd like to experience how much better the 1330 ACE is compared to the 990 I demoed last year.

If you decide to demo the 1330 ACE you should probably bring your checkbook, trade, and/or bank work for the transaction. This will save you time in the long run.

Yes, it is that good. Night and day from the 998.

the 1330 RT is to the 990 RT as the RS is to the RT. In other words they are miles apart. All of my issues with the 990 have been addressed on the 1330 (except the dealer issues....). BRP has hit the sweet spot.

I went to the dealer to look at a NEW 2012 "S", and compared it to the 2014s. I bought the Base RT, with the SE6 tranny. Just couldn't justify the additional $4K for the "S" - even though my 2010 was an "S". Didn't bother to spend much time on the "Ltd" - it had nothing I needed or wanted. I did really like the ST Ltd though, and if it had had the 1330/6 drivetrain, I probably would have ended up with that one.

If you are really ready to buy, AKS... is right, take everything with you, and you won't be disappointed.

Shoot any specific questions, and I'm sure they will be quickly addressed.

Temptation

Temptation bit me in the butt last Friday evening. I was at the official spyder evening opening of my local Can Am dealers new store.
A jetski has been on my bucket list for over a decade and there next to the spyders was a new seadoo all kitted out ready to go fishing.
Well 4 days ago I started the ball rolling, just waiting for the dealer to get back to me with an offer.
I'm having some sleepless nights at the moment.

I agree, if you aren't in the position to buy it, D'ONT TRY IT. Once you try it out, you'll want to buy it !!

Tempted..!!

go for it..you can test or rent in many places. Get it outta your system........and into your garage..!! :roflblack::roflblack:
