• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Temperature sensitive SE6

Just returned from a great ride through New Mexico. Woke up on Thursday morning in Chama with temperature of 40 degrees. Transmission would not shift into reverse, neutral or downshift at all. It did upshift just fine however. Thankfully I was parked on a level parking lot at the motel and I could push it away from the stall. After it warmed up later, it began to act normally again. I say normally, but I have been having trouble downshifting. Having to push very hard on the (-) paddle shifter to do anything. My dealer has ordered a new assembly but they are not available until October. The next morning it was more of the same. 37 degrees and no luck with the (-) side of the paddle. Finally after the temps warmed up into the 50's, did downshifting start to work again. Nebraska mornings in the Fall can be 40 degrees pretty easily. I hope this isn't going to be a problem :sour:

It is an 18 RT Limited. Downshifting, reverse, and neutral has been an issue ever since I rode through a heavy rain a month or so ago. Thankfully it is under warranty. That left handlebar switch group is over $400 bucks I'm told.

??????????? I will tho I don't see the connection yet. I wish I could go out and check it. Having to ride miles, the let it sit and idle for 10 minutes seems like overkill.
