• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Temp. Sensor...

I read on a thread a while ago that not all temp. sensors are located in their proper place. Was putting on my sway bar and couldn't find the temp. sensor which was supposed to be located on the right-hand side near the fog lights. I know I have one because the readings are there but about 20 - 30 degs higher than ambient air.

Want to put it in it's proper place and be able to have true temps. The problem is I have no clue what it looks like or where it might be hidden.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Lamont! A picture's worth a thousand words.

Now I have a project for this afternoon. There is no hole, nutplate or green clips for the sensor on the right-hand side. Will go spelunking in Spydee and hopefully they put the nutplate and green clips where ever the sensor it. Can drill my own hole for installation.

Will tell ya'll how it goes...

Well, guess mine's in a different place than Ron's is. In the second picture, it shows a fabric covered wire looping around the shock tower. Mine looks exactly the same. Just no zip-tie holding the sensor. Have been using the Stinger looking all over in there. Its hard to get even my smallish hands in there to try and feel around for it.

Unless anyone has a better and easier idea of trying to find the elusive temp. sensor, looks like the frunk is coming off again. :gaah:

Nuts...

Hubby just reminded me that we are going on a rode trip next week to Big Bend. Lots of things to get done before the ryde.

Going to button Spydee back up and wait till I get a nutplate before doing a frunkectomy.
