• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

temp gauge

while riding yesterday, i noticed my temp gauge switching between 3 and 4 bars rapidly, back and forth, but just for a little while. there was a very strong headwind. has anybody else experienced this? i don't think it's a big deal, just seemed strange.:dontknow:

I have not experienced this (or if I did, I didn't notice), but I'm not surprised given the situation you were in. A digital block gauge (such as we have on the Spyder) is not able to give small, incremental indications of temperature change. So if you're running at the high end of the lower block and the low and of the higher block you're going to get what seems to be a rapid, large temperature swing when in reality it may be no more than a 5 degree change.

The block style readout simply exagerates the change in this situation. No big deal.

When I ride with Cyncy early Sunday morning, I don't think my temp gauge goes above 3 bars. I wonder why? Are you ready to ride next week if the weather is nice ? Give me shout.

thanks

thanks baja, that makes sense to me. must have been right on the edge of 4 bars, hence the up and down action. coming back, with a strong tailwind, steady 4or 5 bars as usual................................YOU JERSEY BOYS!........................I'll be in touch stan,,,,,
