Has anyone had a positive experience with "techsox.com"? I've been waiting for over a month for a couple of pairs of motorcycle socks. Their three phones dump me to voice-mail everytime I call, and when I finally do get through, I get promisses out the wazzoo, but no results. :dontknow:

I ordered a couple of pair from them a year or so ago. I like the socks. Interesting there is a left and right foot. Any way as I recall it took 2-3 weeks to receive them. I also sent them an email asking what's going on. Since they are a Canadian company, I think they accumulate their orders and bring them across the border to ship them. Therefore their promptness in shipping is not great depending on when in their cycle you order. I believe you will receive them, just not as soon as you would like.

I got mine 4 or 5 years ago at a motorcycle show. Bought 2 pair. Within a few months, some threads started coming apart on one. Notified them and got a new pair almost immediately. Have used them all the time as I wore high boots with Harleys and a BMW (extra thick soles so I could touch the ground on the latter). They do protect your shins and calfs from the rubbing at the top of the boots. BTW, the 2nd pair is still in the original packing.

dshogman - had to laugh. Exactly how I always felt on my BMW. Thick socks and thick boots and I almost touched the ground. :roflblack:

I get the impression that this is a side business for George. His phones rings off the hook, and the two times I have been able to get through to his cell phone, he has had excuse after excuse. It's been over a month, and still no socks.

The Sokz riding socks are a good alternative. They are marked left and right, too.

I paid for the socks using PayPal, but who knows how long it will take, and if I ever get a refund. :dontknow:
