• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

teased by biker friends

Congratulations..!!

Glad you gave it a try. Those test rydes can clear up a lot. you will both have miles of smiles and questioned a lot. The ribbing is just a side effect and fades fast..:2thumbs::ohyea:

Same here

We sometimes take our Spyder on group rides with our 2 wheeled friends. Initially there was some good natured ribbing, but that stopped once we opened the frunk and brought out a box of cookies to share.

I belong to an excellent riding group that has Tuesday evening rides all summer. I'm the only Spyder out of 30 2wheel bikes. Instead of cookies I pulled a litre of oil to give to a fellow rider who was low on oil(HD). On one of our evening rides we ride in groups of 15 I am honorary tailgunner. Near the end of the ride stopped at an intersection and this nice SUV pulls up beside me at the back of the pack and drivers window rolls down. Very pretty lady just had to tell me that I have the most beautiful bike she'd ever seen. I thanked her and rode on. Cool.

Right there with you buddy ! My Road King Classic is under cover in the Garage and we have found riding the Spyders as enjoyable with less stress to mind and body at the end of the day.

Funny looks are still coming my way as I am still using my Harley logo half helmet and gloves when riding my STL. Oh well :D

I always answer the comments by saying that the HD Ultra that I left in the garage would rival theirs, so let's not go there with the comments.

No one seems to laugh at me and I get a lot of waves and compliments. If anyone thinks otherwise who the hell cares? Different machine, same wind.:doorag:
