• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Tasmanian Devil and I plan to head south from Squamish, BC, to Mcallen, Tx,(and then to..) next Tuesday. I will stop at Surrey Can Am dealership to have my Channelz & TIPZ Led fender lights installed and then SOUTH (or east, then south). I will probably weave my way down through the Continental Divide (weather depending). I used to live and fly in Montana, Idaho and Colorado so those states are my old stomping grounds. I always had mcs while living there so I will dodge snow/ice conditions, if need be. Once I get to TX, I plan to sell my 5th wheel trailer and RV site improvements. Now that I have a new Spyder and feel free to roam again, I don't want to spend my winters tied to an RV resort.:ohyea: Sarah

I hope you have a great trip and don't hit too much weather. Where do you plan to spend your winters now? Or are you just goinjg to wing it and go where the road takes you?

Hi Spyderann01, I plan to be where the sun is shining, but not in a drought condition; where the water is clear and cool; where you can see the stars clearly at night; where there are trees, mountains, and good folks. With this "global warming", I might be moving around alot:ohyea: Sarah

BTW, I just posted a couple of pics to my personal info but can't figure out how to get one to come up with my messages. My Tasmanian Devil is gently forcing me into the 21st century:banghead:. That should be my new motto. My old one was "It's a great life if you don't weaken!":roflblack:

Hey, MurphyBrown, check out the picture. Thanks for all of your help.

Spyderann01, Thanks for the invite. When I get around to returning to Canada, I will probably stay upwind of the Rockies. Who knows:ohyea:

I head south with Tas either tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday, at 7AM. My first stop is Surrey, where I'll have my new fender Led lights installed. I will probably spend the night in Hope; then Couer D'Alene, Idaho; somewhere ESE of Salt Lake City, Utah; Santa Fe, NM; north of San Antonio, TX; then into Edinburg, TX. This is a rough itinerary as Tas may (does:yikes:) have a mind of her own. Maybe I'll see more:spyder::spyder:
on the way. Thanks for the good wishes. Sarah

Hi Tas - when I came down from AK, I planned to camp and explore western MT and ID. However, the fires were still precluding visits by tourists. In the end I couldn't get into any the areas I wanted because the were still burning. Don't know how they'll affect you.

crossbowme, You are right about the fires. I just got the current reports. I am just sick that the "Frank Church River of No Return" Primitive Wilderness has so many fires. That is my favorite old stomping ground. I'll go through McCall instead of Salmon, Idaho. I'll try to head over to Stanley. Thanks for the heads up.
