• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for a gas tank pad for my F3-S.. Please share pics on what you used so I can see what the options and sizes are out there... Thanks!

The pad that stops your belt buckle from scratching the paint... That's what I have seen them called at store.. Is there another name?:dontknow:

I used clear vinyl

I have a strip of clear vinyl on my tank in front of the seat. It's been on for over a year and no signs of wear or peeling.

There's a picture of it somewhere here in the F3 forum in a different thread on this topic.

What type of glue did you use for adhesive for keeping the clear vinyl adhered to your tank???

F3 tank protector carbon fiber

Currently we are offering our F3 tank protectors in our Carbon Fiber textured material, matter Black or Gloss Black or you can choose our 8mil thick transparent paint protection film which is completely clear.
In the future we hope to offer our tank protectors in our dash kit material as well.

no glue -- my dealer took it to their vinyl guy and he put it on -- it's just a simple piece of self-adhesive vinyl. We have a lot of places around here that advertise "clear bras" for cars -- that would work depending on what they're using (not so sure about spray on stuff).

I bought a product called Xpel, they are out of San Antonio, TX. I installed mine on the sides so my legs did not rub and it can be installed anywhere and was fairly easy to put on.

Put me on the list for the dash kit material tank protector. This was the 1st thing I thought of after putting on the dash kit.

I have the spyder wraps tank protector too, but does not help where its needed which is where your thighs coming in contact with the F3. I have notice when riding a small stone will get flipped up and get lodged between your leg and the F3 and will make a little ware spot. I could not figure out what was causing this but every once in a while when I get off the F3 there will be a couple of small stones in the set. So this is how I determined what was going on.
