There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Help, I'm looking for a tank bag that will work on an RT. The glove box is a little small and gets too hot for some items. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have been wondering about the same question.

made one for my Spyder the front mounts had to go straight forward not out like a m/c they have pics on the web I got the electro series which let's you pass wiring thru and velcros over the wires so you plug chargers and heat controllers and such in and keep them in the bag out of the wheather they will make any thing color and size you want and they are made it USA good people small company run by the owners lifetime warranty priced as good as anyone and better quality than most

I have looked at adding a tank bag to my RS and I've decided to go with a magnetic mount because straps are just too messy. I was going epoxy some fender washers under the bodywork to give the magnets something to grab onto. If your not using it you don't have to worry about securing or removing the straps. RS or RT shouldn't make a difference just find the one that fits best for you.
Let me know how this works for you, I've been debating the same thing for some time now and prefer magnetic.

Just worried that it won't hold so well through the plastic.

Thanks,

I did exactly this on my 2010 RT and it worked great. I used contact cement to fasten thin steel strips under the plastic in just the right spots. Only used it a few times but never had a problem with it moving at all. It fit so well I think it might even stay in place without the magnets with a little weight in it. I still have the bag but havent mounted it on my 2012 RT and might be willing to pass it on to someone. See pics below.
