• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

not sure if special for the F3's but check Nelson Riggs, Kuryakyn and bike shops like cycle gear, twisted throttle etC. I have the nelson riggs and works well..

Do I need special attachment points? The f3 has a different tank shape than a traditional bike.

I've got a Nelson Riggs tank bag that has a clear top on it. I was able to make the straps that came with it work on the F3.

+ 1 on the Bags Connection thought. I have had that set-up on my bike for 7 years and it is, by far, the best tank bag system I have come across.

all I can say is you guys are so brave with your tank bags. you just look at that big glossy black gas tank panel and it scratches

The Bags Connection bag attaches to a ring around the gas cap and really only touches the tank at the back. I have run tank bags all my life and love the convenience.

Can you flip to the other side and tell me about your phone holder?

That's a RAM U-bolt mount and the Ram mount X-Grip phone mount. Not necessarily the sleekest of things, but it does its job. One thing about that mount is that the phone sits high enough that you can take some pretty decent pics or movies with the phone, if you orient it right. The Techmount Techgripper motorcycle handlebar mount looks like a nice low profile mount, if you want something that sits lower. I saw several of those on F3's, including Harvey's from Spyderpops, at Spyderfest this spring.
