Tally Thread: I purchased a new 2020 RT.

OK, mine is in a crate at the dealer.
Waiting for them to receive the HeliBars for installation before final pick up, hopefully by the end of next week.
They ran the VIN number, and there is no recall or technical bulletin for the body panels, so the poor fit of the rear panels may have been resolved in the factory.

Took delivery of our Asphalt Grey/Dark last week. The panels are proper and not zip tied or broken. Bolts are in and things are aligned nicely.

When you have had time to fill up a couple of tanks worth please post your MPG for the 2020. Salesman told us 40mpg...another source told us 29mpg in the real world. Ok..so now we’re confused...???

First tank 28, second one 29. Only 340 miles so far. :thumbup: Tom :spyder:

This thread is for posting up that you purchased a new 2020 RT. I would like to keep it on that track. There are a lot of threads about purchasing and purchasing do's and don'ts.

Most of the time, actual prices are not discussed. Some buyers are more astute than others. Some get really good prices, and some get taken for a ride.

Due dilligence before buying is a good thing.

My dealer called me yesterday. My 2020 RT Limited (Dark) in chalk has arrived and it'll be ready to be picked up later this afternoon. My BRP backrest, auxiliary light, Garmin 590 LM GPS and BRP holder, my PPA chrome wheels and wheel balancers are sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. Tomorrow morning I'm riding to Spyderpops to get my LEDs installed. My BRP hitch and RT panel cover are on backorder. I'll post a few pictures after I get my new baby home. I also have a set of short reach bars but the jury is still out on whether or not they're getting installed.

Red 2020

I posted on my own previously, but here it is. I purchased a 2020 In red. Unfortunately it’s still at the dealer getting prepped but the dealer is in Illinois and frozen shut until 7 April. Hope to get the baby home soon :yes::clap::f_spider:
