• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tally Thread: I purchased a new 2020 RT.

Deal Done 2/29/20

I Traded my 2014 RTL cognac for the Petrol Blue Dark RTL. I must say it put the fun back in Ryding with the brake more forward and long floorboards. enjoyed the 130 mile Ryde home.IMG_0103.jpgIMG_0104.jpgIMG_0105.jpg

No it comes on bike with running.
Don't pay for install. only 2 screws and electrical plug.
Owners Manual is nebulous about purpose of extra switch.

**Edit**
Whoop! Didn't see the previous response

No, it does NOT. This is contrary to some of the early information that said it would be a switch in the blank space.

It plugs right in on the front and comes on with the rest of the lights. Installed it the other day on our machine.

They say 7 is a lucky number , this is Spyder number 7 for me..... 2020 Petrol Dark. Just waiting for the salt to come off the roads.....This is the first Spyder that "checks all the boxes" for me. This is also the first one that I think may be a long term keeper.

:congrats: on number 7. I am thinking you may be one with the most spyders owned.

Thanks Admiral, looks real good, another for the bucket list and save my coins. Gotta ask, as a Korean War Navy man, were you truly an Admiral? No offense if you'd rather not respond.

I'm jealous. I wanted Black/Dark, but ordered a Red/Dark 2020 RTL. Nobody will offer a guess about when to expect it. It was said no 2020 Red's have shipped. Does anyone know the WHYs and WHENs?????

When you have had time to fill up a couple of tanks worth please post your MPG for the 2020. Salesman told us 40mpg...another source told us 29mpg in the real world. Ok..so now we’re confused...???

You need to get about 3,000 miles on the bike before "true" mileage will show up. You can expect high 30's. 40's can be elusive. But, who pays $30K for a bike and worries about mpg anyway?

OK, mine is in a crate at the dealer.
Waiting for them to receive the HeliBars for installation before final pick up, hopefully by the end of next week.
They ran the VIN number, and there is no recall or technical bulletin for the body panels, so the poor fit of the rear panels may have been resolved in the factory.

Am I required to have a 2020 in my possession at the moment ?
I'm trading in my 2014 RTS for a 2020 RT Limited in Asphalt Grey Dark Version.
I hope to take delivery in early March.
I'll ride it for a month or so stock and see what modifications I may need. I'm thinking in order of importance:
My first Farkle is going to be the Heli Bars if I'm even a little uncomfortable with the reach of the bars.
Next would be the RonBar, if it's necessary. BRP has claimed they improved their OEM anti sway bar. In any event, I'll upgrade the links.
I'd also like to light up the side markers, but I'm concerned with the potential LED interference with the sound system.

I too was curious as to the color so I researched his previous posts and saw this!
