• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tally Thread: I purchased a new 2020 RT.

Negotiating with Seminole Power Sports, Eutis, we'll see how it goes w/the trade in value. Erring on the side of caution, looking positive.

The one in Deland was good to me. Trade in was $2500 more than the dick gm at another dealer. Told me my F3L wasn't worth anything to him. Deland told me to sell the hitch and seat and rider backrest on my own. Another $1200 in my pocket. Tom :spyder:

Are those wheels an option, or did you have them? Looks great!

Joe they are off my F3L with car tires on them. I threw it at them after the deal about swapping them for the new wheels and tires. He said sure. I do not like the chrome wheels on the "chrome edition". :lecturef_smilie: And I was shocked they went for it. Tom :spyder:

Then I will be lucky #13, Ordered last November Limited Chrome Marsala:yes::2excited:

Posted previously that I was negotiating, but now have pulled trigger on the Chalk White RTL, I do love the way that thing rides coming off the GW/RoadSmith. I'll never get the mpg that I did on the GW, and I buy premium fuel, but guess what, I don't care.

Took delivery of our Asphalt Grey Dark Edition today. Took a nice hour long ride to get home and then started Farkling. Have already added the Auxiliary Light, Comfort Heated Seats, Driver Backrest, Touring Windshield. Still waiting on the passenger arm rests to come in. It was dark when I got home so will post a photo tomorrow. Couldn't be happier with the machine. First Spyder and first time ever riding one. Extremely pleased!

I have got to say, this looks to be the best combination that I have seen on the new RT. I love those wheels much better than what comes on the new Limited. Good move. Now I just need to stop looking at them to keep from making that move myself.

I believe he swapped the wheels of his trade in.
I didn't like the look of the chrome wheels from the pictures. It looked like the chrome is just "hanging there unattached ". Once is saw them in person I took the chrome version over the dark.20200216_164000.jpg

Bikerbillone,
I am in the same boat as you, I test drove one at Seminole Powersports in Sanford today. I too am coming off a Goldwing, actually two of them. Had a great test ride, a bit different from a motorcycle but liked it. I am pulling the trigger, either red or blue, waiting till I see a red one in person. I might end up wrapping in orange, LOL I agree on the not matching the Wings mpg and the need for premium in the Spyder, I do not care either. Maybe we will meet up sometime as I am in Daytona, Kim

Traded in my 2013 RT-S for a 2020 RTL Asphalt Grey, Chrome Edition. Hoping for delivery in March, but we will see....

They say 7 is a lucky number , this is Spyder number 7 for me..... 2020 Petrol Dark. Just waiting for the salt to come off the roads.....This is the first Spyder that "checks all the boxes" for me. This is also the first one that I think may be a long term keeper.

Congrats, we are on Spyder #5 and will keep this one at least 4 years and then look at the new ones again.
