Except for the fact the laws of this country, going all the way back to English Common Law, don't cotton to using deadly force to protect property. Now, if the carjacker was brandishing a gun or knife then that's a different matter.

Check out the vid again, IdahoMP, the car-jacker WAS fairly clearly brandishing a gun.... pretty much stuck it in the driver's face - not that it did him much good!! :shocked:

I see that now. You gotta laud the guy for his quick draw and shot but I guess that's what a shot of Adrenalin can do.

Did he shoot the carjacker after he was on the ground and not moving? If so, that would not be good move in English Common Law countries. It looks like at about 47 seconds he has a recoil reaction.

With the word entrada, I don't think it was an English Common Law country.

It looks like the hijacker has a partner, and he appears to pull out a gun, and then takes off out of sight.
