• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Taillight help

Okay, here's the problem. I have a 2008 RS with the whole Corbin package: seats, saddlebags and trunk. Well, my right tail light has burned out and I cannot figure out how to get to it to change it. I've removed the trunk and passenger seat and still can't get to it. Do I have to remove all the right side panels, too? It's just hard to believe it would be designed to be this difficult to change a bulb. Am I missing something?

You remove the black plastic undertail pc above the tire and then there are a couple bolts to mount the lens

This will help with future bulb replacement.

Also suggest getting LED's by Pilot Automotive, part LI-1157RCZ. Make sure you get the red LED for better veiwing, and the one with the built in resister. They are sold at Pep Boys, and Amazon (but sold out at Amazon) for $24.99. They have a 100,000 hours of use. I just installed mine.

I can't disagree more. Had 4 different pilot LEDs for my fender running lights fail each within a month of purchase.

I remember the old days when you could remove two screws from the cover and change the light. Now you have to have ET fingers with five knuckles and an optional needle nose attachment.

Hey Chuck! I just installed one of those TricLED flag lights yesterday. Holy 4th of July Batman!

I tried to install the LED fender lights (194) and it only worked when the blinker was on. I went back to the origional bulb. No problem with the 1157 yet. Maybe I got a good set.

Okay, Brian, get ready! You'll now get comments about your flag as well as your Spyder. I've been stopped by people just to ask about it...We're gonna look like a parade ryding together...

Well, I agree with that, I bought the pilot/pepboys LED's. One was not as bright as the other when I hit the brakes and went into limp mode. Of course I can't find the receipt. luckily I had trimmed the lens at the same time, less painful putting the old ones back in. If it ain't broke...
