• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi:

A Newbie here wondering if I can install tail light flashers on my 2011 RT. Got a Back Off module available for the install.

TIA

Brake light modulator

I installed a brake light modulator on mine and was an easy install. I purchased it from Spyderpops I believe. It was plug and play easy.

Cannot help with the install information. A good safety device--IMO.

I had a Yosimite Sam Back Off mudflap on my Venture. Even had a Highway Patrol stop me to admire it up close. I was good to go in MN.

Got a 3rd running/tail/brake light from Custom Dynamics. Wwrks great. TEN different patterns.

Here's a link to the Gear Brake unit that I installed on our 2014 RT Ltd. Its been working great for three years now. I also installed TricLEDs high brake light and their strips on the inside vertical edge of the bags and at the interface of the truck lid and base. Flashes them all.

I just put a gear brake module on and the cool thing about this brand is that when you push the brake pedal you get that flasher action but lets say you just back off the gas real fast or downshift for a turn it senses your decell and flashes the brake lites so cars behind you know your slowing down before you even hit the brake pedal.

Did you get their universal one since I don't see an application for the spyders and did you have to get one for each tail light? If not, where'd you wire it in? Sorry, just got this F3T a few months ago and haven't been into it yet...

An important clarification needs to be made here.
You do NOT want to flash the TAIL LIGHTS. That would be impractical and illegal.
It is the BRAKE LIGHTS that flash when first applied......and then usually go steady after a few flashes.
