There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In order to properly use a trailer, you need to let the dealer do it. Just had my RT done. Took it and trailer to dealer to insure it all worked properly. Also, the new Can Am trailer, which I don't have, uses a square four pin connector instead of the nine pin they used to have. I'm not an expert but I think you have to get the trailer wiring harness and plug it into the computer. Thus when you hitch up the trailer, the computer knows to that the voltage or current drain is ok and helps with ABS. But of course, you need to have RT in trailer mode. I would not tap into anything unless dealer said I could. Good Luck and God Bless!!!!

Hooking up the trailer doesn't do anything. That's why you have to manually select trailer mode with an SE. BTW, the SM doesn't even have trailer mode. Hooking a trailer to a Spyder depends on a lot of things. Post the details or PM me and I'll try to tell you the choices you have.
