• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sypder Wheels

ok I just checked the new 2013 wheels to see if they fit on my 2011 rt limited and....:yes:yes they do fit. There is about 1 1\2 inches between the rim and the caliper. I ordered the new black graphite (I think that's what brp calls it) but I am having these powder coated orange rear wheel and sprocket getting done as well. I will post pics next week when i get these back and installed.

Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Thank you so much!! So can I assume that the RSS will apply to this as well? I noticed it was tested on a RT. Thanks everyone!!! I have waited a long time for this great news......YES. Hope this pertains to the RSS as well.

Im not sure about the Rss but in the brp accessories book it states that all 2013 wheels fit All prior model years. If you are interested in a set of 15 inch wheels just ask your dealer that if they dont fit that you can return them for a full refund. I haven't got my wheels back from the powder coaters yet when i do I will post some pics. The waiting is killing me...

DIFFERENT WHEELS

If you can't LIVE without different wheels.......you can get someone to make you " ADAPTORS " for your front hubs / spindles at a fairly reasonable cost......However dealing with the " NANNY " may be a real problem and not left to amateurs unless they have deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep pockets.....Mike

Mike,
You're just the guy with the talent to make those adapters...
Question:
How "thin" can they be made, and still be strong enough to stay together?
There's about a 2" difference in the width of the GS/RS/ST models, and the RTs... Could an adapter be made to keep the overall width of the bikes within the RTs specs?
oh! It shouldn't bother Nanny at all... :2thumbs:

I don't know what the actual hole pattern is but I was thinking about looking at wheels for one of the new "mini" cars, like the Fiats or Smart Cars, I know there are some nice rims being made for those but I have no clue if the hole pattern or offset would be compatible.

I am looking at tires in the same realm, I want to go to something with a lower profile on the stock rims.

Wheels off of a Smart, or a 500?
That seems like a step backwards! :roflblack:
Now if they were off of a Lambo, a 'Benz or a Beemer;
