• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wife & I may attend. We have a commitment late Saturday afternoon we need to get ready for. If we get done Friday night we will be there. “Meet and Greet” over lunch is always good.

I would love to be there. I have to work, :cus:, I need at least a weeks notice to request the day off.
I've been trying to get Spyder owners in the 7 cities of Hampton Roads to have a meet and greet, but I find it very difficult to get them to respond, :banghead:.
I hope somebody has an idea to getting their attention :helpsmilie:. The cost for an add in the news paper or a billboard are beyond my pay scale.
I was hoping to start a, South Eastern Virginia Spyder Riders of America, do to the distance from Fredericksburg to Virginia Beach. It's a little too far for weekend meets.
The seven cities has almost thirty Spyder owners and as of this date I have meet only three and road with two.
Bandwagon it's good to see ya back, :).
 
My wife and I will try to make it. We have an appointment in the morning. Hope to see you there.

How did this meet and greet go? Will there be other meetings. I am interested, for sure. I would love to meet and ride with other Spyder ryders in the Northern Virginia area.

We will ride along Rt 1 to Richmond where we will stop at Honda House for about 30mins. We will have lunch at Quaker State afterwards we depart at 1:30pm for Williamsburg. There we will fuel-up and take a short break. Then on to final destination of Yorktown (ETA-2:pm). Everyone has the freedom of choosing how much of this ride they want to do (ETD-3pm). Those that plan to return to the Fredericksburg area(ETA-5:pm) may want to use 17 for a more scenic ride. I have a BRP/Can-am Banner for everyone to sign. Total miles round trip from Fred. about 250. Also I will be looking to fill the remaining officer positions. Those that plan on being chapter members we will be voting on local dues

Has there been any follow-up to this meet and greet? I thought emails were going to be sent out with info on forming a new chapter. Haven't heard anything since attending and we missed the 23 June one because of finding the posting on here late.

Late Bloomers!!!

The wife and I just became proud owners of the RT SE5. Love that we are meeting all the VA owners...online. Would love to do a meet and greet somewhere in VA. Oops, I've just been told that I will be aerating the lawn this weekend. Guess I will have to play hooky from work on Friday so that I can make sure I have Saturday for riding. A man has to have his priorities...right? At any rate, we are in Va Beach. If anyone wants company on the road, new routes to explore, or just a spot of tea (no, I'm not English), give us a buzz.
