There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Switch out Stock HORN on F3S?

Have you made any changes to your stock horn on your F3S?

We have the 2015 model and would like to get a more pronounced horn.

***I wish I could get one of the "Oooga" horns from years ago.

I have the Stebil Nautilus horn on my F3. It mounts in the stock location near the right front suspension. Installed a relay to handle the extra current (comes with the horn). Works great. No cutting required.

Have installed several others for folks including a few replacing dead Big Boy horns.

Which Stebil Nautilus model did you get?

How much more louder and pronounced was the replacement horn from the stock horn?

Is there a how to on it. That's a mod I'd like to do.
I'm sure there are plenty of them on Youtube and here in the "How To" section. However, it's not something I will do unless the sound is significantly more pronounced and attention getting. Otherwise, I will stick with the stock horn. :(

OOGA Horn

I got an Ooga horn from... of all places,
Harbor Freight, I think I paid $15.00 for it
I get a bunch of looks when I honk it...
On my RS I had a hell of a time finding a place
to mount it though.

I "piggy backed" a Fiamm Low Tone horn I had inline with the stock horn (which is a high tone) and used the stock mounting bolt to attach. Doubled the sound output.

I have the PIAA Slim Line Horns (400hz & 500Hz) on my Thruxton which are impressive as well. I would say both setups are equal in output. Both of the options I mention have a more "full" sound than the Stebel which is more shrill. Just enter this into a google search and choose videos to get sound bites: stebel nautilus

Thanks for the note.

I just picked up one today from HF and now if I can get it installed without a major overhaul.

Thanks for sharing. It says it requires an onboard air compressor system!?! I'm confused. How does it work? How did you install it? If you don't mind and would rather, you can PM me the info. Thanks again!!!
I used a 24 inch seamless air tank but it comes in a smaller size too. A viair compressor 350c and a baker built rear rack to mount air tank and viair pressure switch and a air gauge
