• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:clap:On my way to Barney's in St. Petersburg to have my sway bar kit installed. Not raining at the moment, so maybe I won't get soaked. But the day isn't over yet. I will have to take her over to Walsingham Park to test ride the new sway bar. Tons of twisties, so it could be fun.

Huh, Twisties in Florida?

:2thumbs::yes:Enjoy the ryde :yes::2thumbs:
Don't be surprised if you find yourself needing to adjust your ryding style a bit, as you may find the ryde that much different;) and better :thumbup:

I miss living in Florida, used to live in Clearwater on Commodore street, right where Clearwater meets Dunedin by the bay. Don't remember all that many twisties down there:( Tho I didn't have a Spyder then either, so no reason to search them out like now:rolleyes:
:yes:Enjoy the Ryde :yes:

:lecturef_smilie:We'll expect a full report on the difference in your bike's handling bright and early tomorrow morning! :shocked: :roflblack: :joke:

How much time is the dealer charging you for labor? I was going to install mine, but haven't had time and asked my dealer what he would charge. He had no idea and said he'd get back to me. I'm hoping if I can give him the time required, we can move this along.

What I know..!!

I have worked several shops and did my own installation. As a shop if they charge over an hour it's too much. Hope to hear about your ryde after the swap.,although I know the answer it will be the amount of excitement..!!:clap::thumbup:

Some garage post their hourly labor charges as follows:

$105/ hr

$150/hr if you help

:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Can't wait!!

Just bought mine from BajaRon for my 2010 RS-S, Hey! What a nice guy, so helpful! :bowdown:
Will fit it myself.......Probably.

Swaybar

It took my dealership an hour to do the install. I live about 7 miles from the dealership. About 75 miles later I was home.
Up over Patterson Road. Which is alot more fun now. More in control and almost no wiggle in the corners. I then wound my way down to Walsingbam Park. A county park with tons of twisties.
All I can say is WOW. What a ride. When my wife is not with me, I drive like my tail is on fire. This is going to be alot of fun.

I kind of always felt as if there was some sort of "disconnect" in the front end... :shocked:
It was almost as if when you turned the bars, everything kind of happened in separate and distinct steps...
The bars turned
The wheels would start to turn
the bike would heel over
the turn would commence
You'd straighten out the bars when you were pointed in the right direction
The bike would stand back up
Has this process become more fluid?

Florida is the land of twisties, although most of you refer to them as on and off-ramps for the freeway. And the ones in the parking garages are great....till you get caught. Patterson and Ehrins cut-off were my favorite places around here to ride the RT too. Glad to hear another satisfied customer.........
