Hi all

I am a 2014 r t s and iv talked to a few

guys and they are all saying I need a anti

sway bar installed on my spyder ? I do carrier my wife

a lot ? Thanks for all the help in advance

Depends..!

do you feel a handling problem. Squishy in the corners or skittish on the open roads when windy or passing..?? Have you adjusted your suspension for dual ryding..?? If you are a regular non aggressive ryder you may not need one. It does help no doubt but the stock bar works well even double up...

BajaRon sway bar A+

I also have a 2014 RT-S and just recently had the BajaRon sway bar installed. I can tell you that it made a BIG difference for me and my wife. We don't get pushed around in cross winds or when passing semis anymore. Also, we can take curves faster and my wife doesn't feel like she's going to fall off. We both give the BajaRon sway bar an A+ and :2thumbs:. It's the best thing I ever did to my Spyder. My wife concurs.

It all comes down to how YOU feel the bike handles... nojoke
If you like what you're feeling; don't mess with success!
If you want to stiffen it up a bit; BajaRon is the man to talk to! :2thumbs:

Baja Ron's Sway Bar

I just installed Ron's sway bar on my wife's 2014 RTL. Have to concur with the comments already made that the bike is more stable, tracks straighter, and feels more in control with the new sway bar.

My objective for this install was very simple: I sought to make the bike as safe as possible for my wife. Having driven the Spyder with the new sway bar, I am confident that I met the safety objective.

Hope this helps anyone on the fence needing help deciding whether to make this investment.

The extra 120 lbs the Secretary of Defense adds to my Spyder makes the BajaRon bar a very small investment for a solid two up ride.

I have had a 2014 RT for about one year and have driven over 2800 miles with the stock bar. I think my Spyder handles extremely well even with two up. I have seen many recommendations on previous post (as a forum lurker, lol) to new owners to simply purchase the bar as a "must have"safety item. However, I would recommend that new owners drive at least two to three hundred miles before making a decision to alter the stock performance unless you have extensive experience riding previous model Spyders.

YES!!

YES !!
Install an anti-sway bar. Factorys put one on that is just enough. I put one on with in the first 200 miles and its great !!

Drove my RTS 3000 miles a 2011 model, before installing my Bajaron Bar and YES you can feel the difference with this addition.. Cornering is tight with little leaning, best item I've added so far:yes:

Thank you... :D :agree:
I'm a Big Fan of Ron's; but it's your bike, and your riding circumstances that need to dictate what you want on the bike.
Example: My 2010 RT was VERY soft up front... I added Ron's bar and a set of Elkas, and it transformed the bike's handling! nojoke

My 2014 RT is a whole lot better right out of the box, so I'm going to try his preload adjusters on first...

...Then, I'll decide on whether the bar is really needed.

I agree that my 2014 handled better stock than my 2013. I waited until I had over 5,000 miles on the 2014 before adding the BajaRon. My wife and I are very happy with the difference it has made in the handling. No more getting pushed around in the wind and when passing semis. It also corners so much better. It's funny that my wife told me AFTER I had it installed, that the sway bar was the ONE thing she really wanted me to get. She is now very happy that I did.

Do the install yourself? I also have a 2014 RT Limited and am considering to try to do the install myself since my dealer won't touch it.

Rev, it's not that hard to install. Just make sure you get the front of the bike up high enough per the directions.
