Sway Bar Links

Did some searching but couldn't find anything. I took a peek under me Spyder yesterday. The links going to the sway bar are metal and painted red. I looked on the internet and the forum and couldn't find red ones. Didn't see any writing/engraving on them. Anyone know? It looks like it may have the Baja Ron sway bar, but I didn't have time to look further at it, stuff in the way.

Those red links will be BajaRon links with Heim joints in them! Sounds like you've got the good gear under there already! :thumbup: Are the placcy bushes the bar runs thru white? That's gotta be the only tell-tale you are missing so far!

:agree: BajaRon has made changes along the way on the bar color and the hiem joints. But if yours are metal more than likely they are his and his bars come with them as a kit now. My bar is red and I have the original metal joints (two hiem joints bolted together) now they are one piece. Not many ryders I know only changed the joints but could be....:dontknow:

The bar is black. I will try to look at it closer tomorrow. I was pleasantly surprised to find the mod already done. Makes me wonder what else the previous owner may have done that is not apparent.

Get a 5/8th open end wrench and try to fit it over any part of the bar. If it fits, you have the old wimpy bar. If it doesn't, congratulations.

I replaced both this past May with Bajaron link and joints.

Thanks for the info! The previous owner also put LED's on the mirrors for the turn signals and on the trunk for the brake lights. Now that I am learning what to look for, I am going to start looking closer for any other mods he may have done.

Well howdy!

Finally got to looking closely and the previous owner had Baja Ron's sway bar and links installed! How cool is that! One thing I can check off the list.
