Swap meet at Spyderfest?

Hey Cruzr Joe or anyone "in charge" can we organize a swap meet somewhere? I'll be at the Quality Inn a few doors up from the Best Western. I've got some 2014 RTS OEM parts and a few 2011 RSS parts.

I am not sure that would be fair to the vendors that have to pay for the right to sell their wares at Spyderfest, but because you are not at a "sponsored" hotel, whatever you do there will not require permission of the Spyderfest promoters. Just my .02 cents worth.

If you can bring along your wears I'm sure you can peddle them. In many cases impromptu swapmeets occur. All those folks getting stuff done to thier rydes end up with parts they don't want to haul back home with them....:dontknow:

Joe, That's a thought that I hadn't thought of. Personally, if I am interested in used, new isn't going to be in the picture, no matter what.

I'm sure that the Quality Inn, pretty mush in the center of the host hotels would let me use the lobby, for an hour or so, one evening, for everyone to do their swapping.

Let's plan on it. I'll make the arrangements when I get there and put it in the Swap meet post in general thread.

I have permission to hold the swapmeet at the Quality Inn at 2745 N. Glenstone, This is across from the Lamplighter. We need to pick a night to do it.

I think that's a very valid point but I guess I see it as vendors are businesses, they are in business to make money and sometimes paying a space fee is part of that business. Spyder owners might just be trading or selling something they don't need, most likely losing money on it, just clearing some space in their garage/house and getting a little something to help support this hobby, so it's ok for them to not pay a fee... Not saying this in any self-benefitting hopes, since I can't even make it to Spyderfest this year... just my 2 cents

I have a '14 RTL OEM sway bar and new (still packaged) aluminum links. I also have a new handlebar end mirror. I will not be down till Friday morning.
