• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Suzuki 90 degree L twin 1000cc RT!

So since this is all hypothetical anyway, I really like the Suzuki engine. Reliable as a stone ax, very powerful and can be tuned to push a lot of torque or a lot of horsepower. Just like the the Rotax motor. Other then the increased rom\om between the cylinders I don't see any advantage to going to the Suzuki. Rotax division can and would do anything Spyder Division asked them to do. Its all Bombardier.

I may be wrong but I think the V4 Aprillia motor is also a Rotax motor and would be a blast in the F3 or the RT. Another 200cc in the current VTwin would also be great. Does Rotax make a larger Vtwin from the same platform and could we get a displacement increace from a jug change?

The Aprilia V4 is all Aprilia, aas for the Rotax twin, there are kits available in Europe that'll give you bigger bores, and one that will give a longer stroke. The stroker will give you 1200cc, but as I've said before, we're talking cubic money.

Right. This was all hypothetical anyway. The L twin was just a, if I had $ to customize the RT, that would be my preference.

Yes well buying a new RT/F3 for the displacement change is mega money too but...........

Only advantage with the Suzuki motor as I see it, is lighter weight, cooler running, and longevity.
