• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Survey on TIRES

I got a email from brp:

Thank you for being part of the Can-Am family. You are invited to participate in this survey because you bought a Can-Am Spyder RT LIMITED. BRP is interested in how you choose your Spyder replacement tires. This is your chance to let us know what we can do to make your Can-Am Spyder experience better.

Participation is completely voluntary, and your answers are treated according to our confidentiality and privacy policy.

This survey will take about 5 minutes of your time.

Thank you.

I got mine the other day. It would be nice if BRP finally would admit that auto tires are better than the Kendas.

If nothing else, it shows that BRP is interested. I got no request but maybe I will get one. What I would like to see is dealers mount the tire of Spyder owner's choice, not sure that will ever happen. If BRP would come off the "Kenda thing', maybe the dealers would be more inclined to follow vehicle owner's choice.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....thanks for posting.

If this leads to a replacement of the OEM Kenda's, I am for it. I know now that I will not be going to K9's for any replacements on current Spyders.

Got mine today and completed the survey. Told them the stock tires were junk, why I replaced them with car tires. And last question. Mentioned that they should get they’re dealer network in order, good dealers are far and few between. And that it was the main reason that I would not be purchasing another Spyder when this one bites the dust.

survey ???

I didn't get one, IMHO BRP and Kenda parting ways is NOT going to happen. It makes zero sense Financially for them to do so, so I won't hold my breath. Since 2010 the " windshield Arm " has probably had the highest " failure " rate of all the Spyder parts .... How did BRP fix this ....they finally allowed folks to but the ARM separately - the same junky part that they put on the RT's in the first place. All they had to do was to change the Casting mold, ie. stop removing all the material from the arm , which dramatically Weakens that part. .... good luck .... Mike

They don't have to part ways. Kenda can make a decent tire. They just don't for the Spyder/Ryker. I suspect it has more to do with BRP's specs. than it does with Kenda. But there is no way to know.

The only survey I got was for my purchase dealer service department. It was so simple and limited that I feel sure it will be of no actual use.

Would love to get one on the tires if it's more than 4 questions and allows you to make comments.
