• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CHEERS MICK:doorag:

That's one nice feature of the SuperTraps: adjustability!
Go wipe the blood out of your ears, and tone it down a bit so that you don't end up having difficulties with the Local Police! :D
You can always add the discs when it's time to play with the boys...

Please pics.. Also, where did you buy it from.. I have that pipe in my short list..

My wife liked the sound of my Super Trapp with 17 discs that she wanted one! Hers has 16 discs. Mid range and top rpm are awsome. The bike is loud but in a different way. So far we have had no police problems. In fact she got stopped for passing a no passing zone (passing me of course) and the cop never even mentioned the pipes and that town enforces a noise odinance. I thought we were too load at first, but it just takes a little time to get used to the different sound.

Forgot to tell my source. Summit Racing 800-230-3030. Model 443-2217 this one is for 2.25" pipe. Price was $204.95 plus shipping.

Question: As you remove discs; does it change just the amount of noise, or does the delivery of power also change?

trapp

hi i got mine from summit racing as well but i went for the $150 plus freight ( black 17 inch ) i will post photos tommorow but i must have a diffrent one than machinegunner because it is way loud with 12 disks i went right back to only 3 disks but it still sounded like a drag bike so i stuffed it full of flywire and put six disks in now its just loud, not loud enough to make my ears bleed and beleive me i like loud pipes and im 30 percent deaf from birth so my loud is very loud so either machinegunner is stone deaf or weve got diffrent pipes.
cheers mick

I put Supertraps on my RS and you're right about one thing you're going to need earplugs.

I have an RS-S and my wife has a GS. I talked to Super Trapp rep when I was using 6 discs and he said to not go any less than 6 discs. After that I started increasing by 2 discs at a time. Every 2 discs the power improved noticably. I did not see any decreace until I got to 18 discs so went back to 17. I didn't notice much difference it the loudness from 6 discs to 17 discs but it seems somewhat lower in tone. We really like the pipe. We are going to Daytona Oct 18 if anyone wants to hear them.

hey machinegunner do you have an RT or an RS ?
cheers mick

I have the RT now I sold the GS recently but now I wish I had not been so quick to sell.

I'm having burning rubber withdrawal. The paddle shift is okay but I sure do
miss my clutch. One positive note the wife likes the backseat better and it's quieter.

I don't know where I got the RS from my hard drive keeps getting taped over.
