• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

supertrapp exhaust

coz

summit racing has a black supertrapp muffler for 162.00 . a car elbow is 8 bucks. you could make a really nice pipe for around 175 dollars. i think i'll ask santa for one this year for my 2015 exhaust system.:thumbup:

SuperTrapps are nice mufflers because they a tunable to the bike and individual that rides it. It would make a great Spyder pipe if someone wanted to make one.

I remember Supertrapp from back in the day :roflblack:

I had them on mine 2 Honda 3 wheeler ATV's in the early 80's.

Really cool how they were tunable because we didn't always ride in legal places and it was nice to be able to quiet them down when necessary. :roflblack:

tunable

the tunable aspect would make it the best pipe ever, if you like how they look, which i do.

My husband has a SuperTrapp V5 stitting in the garage that he keeps telling me he is going to put on my new 2014 RT. I'm not sure if I'm going to let him do that or not.

Do you not like what you have pictured in your sig?

We had Yoshi exhaust on all our latest 4 wheelers and loved them, although on the big ATV's we had to stuff 'em a little to quiet them down a bit. lol

make him do it !:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: i like the yoshi alot. just fired it up for the first time about a week ago. it sounds double tough, but i haven't ridden it yet. i mainly just like making inexpensive spyder pipes that sound REALLY good.

I've been advocating Super Trapp for years. My wife and I use the automotive universal model with 18 discs. Kind of loud, but no problems with the law. Mid range was improved considerably. You do need a fuel controller to take advantage of increased flow. On a side note, with the disc setup, mice cannot store their nuts and seeds over the winter!

Great exhaust..!!

remember them well. One of the best when your fine tunning a bike. Was a bit of a hassel to get jetting and pipe dialed in but once you did it was great. When riding in the andes you could adjust for the altitude quickly. Sound was awesome as well..:2thumbs:

Take a look at my four-year-old mods file entitled "Now mine...". The link is noted below in my sig line.

There are several Supertrapp versions there including duels.

Nah... I'm totally off of two and three-wheelers. Getting too old for broken bones and things. I can't even fly commercially anymore because of all of my motorcycle-caused metal implants. It gets embarrassing to be strip searched all of the time.

Back to convertible sports cars.

I've always liked Super Trapp mufflers. Well made, infinitely tune-able and I think they look good too. Easy to repack and not that expensive.

Down sides are they spew exhaust 360 degrees. Can't run them too close to anything that can't take the exhaust. And they tend to be loud after about 5 disks.

If you do a search of posts, "Machinegunner" or "Frenchy" have both posted about their use of Super Trapps on their RS's.

easy build

i know it's been done, but this type of pipe is super easy. no welding required, all clamp together. for a novice modder it could be easily built, rather than spend several hundred on one. building one for a 13 or 14 would be a little more difficult.

Here's the thing..!!

We made deflector discs and later they came out with them as well. This kept the exhaust away from swingarm, brakes etc...great exhaust..!!
