There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Supertrap on a Spyder?

Wonder how this would look and sound on a Spyder. I love it on my 109. :doorag:

I bet they would sound great. Even if they didn't, the looks alone would be worth it ! About the ugliest thing on the Spyder is the exhaust pipe. The factory optional one isn't much better either.

Lamont,

Your exhaust is probably the best I have heard to date. It's got a deep, throaty blitty-blatty and it's not obnoxiously loud like some I have heard. I would definitely be interested in trying it on the Spyder.

I did hear an exhaust system last weekend (Seapup put his RoadHouse system on) and although it's still breaking in, it has a super low thump that you can feel in your chest - unlike any I have heard. It's a notch or two louder then yours I thought but I would really like to hear the two together as I like the looks of the RoadHouse better.

Where and how do you mount it? Pics and details please!

Sopher... I pretty much describe what I had to do in detail in the post. In the second pic, look closely and you'll see the lone 1/8" thick x 1" wide x 6" long steel hanger (Home Depot/Lowe's) bolted to the back of the muffler running back/up to the normal frame mounting location.

There are obviously other ways to mount including making a Micron-type band clamp. I opted to do it the way I did to not have the band around the muffler.

I love this set up. It truly looks gorgeous.

Thanks but 1200* high-temp paint didn't work well on the pipe. I think I'll have it ceramic coated...as well as the muffler body, to match. I'm now alternating between the big, chrome Warrior pipe and the Hindle. The Warrior is a great traveling muffler... quieter than stock... but about the size of a 155mm howitzer tube.

Lamont... as an FYI, I looked at the 5" and there are no reasonably priced end-caps available... even the $20 Supertrapp aluminum one like I run on the 4". Only billet caps at $100+ are available. BTW, the standard end-cap which comes with the muffler looks like crap, IMHO.

The other 4" polished pipe like you showed in the other post could work. I just wanted black at the time.

And, White Brother Snuff-r-Not caps are no longer made. I ran those on the Valkyrie way back when.
