• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Superclamp Spyder Tiedown with Floorboards?

I bought a trailer for my 2013 Spyder RT-S and I was exploring options for how to tie it down when I stumbled across the thread on this site that talks about the Superclamp Spyder system. I researched the product and it seems pretty easy but I don't see how it works for Spyders that have full floor boards, where do you hook the straps? Since the product is rather pricey and I never trailered a bike before I want to make sure it will work. I will be hauling a Goldwing along with my spyder so I need to make sure they are secure. :dg2:

I've got the super clamps in my enclosed trailer (and by the way, I love them) and I don't yet have the floor boards on my rss. I too am wondering where someone has attached the tie downs once there are floor boards on the spyder. was considering the web boards and know this could be a problem!:dontknow:

Tie around the back floorboards. Pulling forward AMD slightly outward. Sometimes my straps pinch in the hinge area of the strap but have had no strap damage and they work fine

I tie one strap, since it's out of reach for one of the straps that come with it, to the frame where the labels are seen in his pics above just forward of the rear tire, and works great.
