Super excited - trading in Harley's on a 2022 RTL!

About a month ago I bought my wife a 2020 chalk metallic dark RTL. She loves it. I didn’t think I was ready to give up two wheels yet but she let me ride it a few times and I fell in love. Then a week ago I really messed up my knee. I Decided today to trade in a couple of my Harley’s on a 2022 RTL in deep Marsalas metallic dark. Still keeping one Harley for those days that I still want to be on two wheels after my knee heals. I think I got a pretty good deal. $28,700 out the door.
The bad news is the spyder is waiting on parts. Dealer said it could be a month. Hoping it won’t take that long. Going tomorrow to sign the paperwork and drop off the trades.

That does indeed sound like a good deal. Hope your parts come soon. A local dealer that I spoke with is slowly getting '22 Spyders on the floor as the missing parts come in.

Good for you.. I traded a Harley freewheeler that i ended up hating for a 22 RT that i absolutely love. Because of peer pressure from my family of Harley owners I traded in a riker rally for the freewheeler .. The Harley tore up my shoulders big time from hard steering .. I know your going to love your new spyder,,

Fx Harley in Adams, NY has an F3L and a S2S in stock. Waiting on parts as most are so they aren’t on the showroom floor. Bibbens powersports in Weedsport, NY has a few complete on their showroom floor. I understand it would be a few hours travel for you but the spyders are hard to find as you well know.

I also sold my Harley Freewheeler after 6 months (I Hated it) And I bought a 2021 RT base and rode from Alabama to New Jersey And enjoyed every second of that ride. You will not regret the purchase.

I traded in my 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse for my 22 RTL. I love it! No worries of dropping it, especially with a passenger. I have reverse, And plenty of storage! No more irritation in heavy stop and go traffic of clutching.
