There is a 1/8th Mile track off Ulmerton Rd. called the Sunshine Drag Strip. SunShine Dragstrip We Make Racing Fun For Everyone!

Nov 19, 2008 Wednesday Night Test and Run--> 5pm - 11pm 20$ or so I believe to run the Spyder as many times as you want, $10 for tech card and 12$ for spectators.

You're kidding, right? The place is still open? I used to go there in the early 60's to the drags one night and the track the next to watch the big guns like GE Lee race. Would drive my MGA there to show off. There used to be cows in the fields beside the drag strip. I had completely forgotten about Sunshine. Thanks for bring up great memories.
