• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sunday Ride to Galveston (3/6/2011)

If anyone is interested:

On Sunday morning (3/6/2011) my wife and I plan on meeting a couple of friends (near Hwy 6 and SH 288). We should be leaving around 10:30 and plan to head down 288 into/near Freeport and then take the Blue Water Highway up the coast into Galveston. Eventually we plan to end up at "The Spot" on the Seawall around lunchtime and hang out a while. Afterwards, since Mardi Gras is winding down, some of you may want to head over to the Strand for the closing festivities. Later that afternoon we plan to head back up Hwy 6 (depending on traffic).
Shoot me an email ([email protected]) if you have any questions and I'll send you my number.

A few IMPORTANT details:
I ride a bike :doorag: and my wife rides a Spyder :f_spider:, so there will be both.
My chopper sucks down fuel so we will prob stop a few times to rest/fuel up.
Part of the Blue Water Hwy requires a toll ($1.50, I think)
This is approx a 200 mile ride (round-trip).
My wife is somewhat of a newbie so we will be taking it easy,
so if you want to haul-#%*, we'll just meet you there later.
We might be taking our daughter along too (she's 6).

We also plan to take a short ride on Saturday, weather permitting. Like I said, shoot me an email if you're interested.
