I mounted my new Spyderpops cat converter heat shields on my RT a couple of nights ago, and the next day I found the left one flopping around because the clips didn't stay put in the casting holes. The holes are a shade too big.
One clip was gone, so I found another with the same head size, but the diameter of the prong was too small. I grabbed a pouch of Sugru moldable glue and squished it into the prongs on both clips, and formed a wad around them. Then I mashed the filled clips into the holes, clamped them overnight, and tada! Problem fixed.
Sugru will take temperatures up to 385F, so this is a great application for it. :2thumbs:
