• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sturgis 2016 | Can-Am Spyder Owners’ Ride

Join the Can-Am Spyder team and the Road Warrior Foundation on a ride to honor veterans during Sturgis 2017.

At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, we will meet at the Can-Am Spyder demo site at Hershruds of Sturgis.
From there, we’ll head out and do a slow roll through Black Hills National Cemetery to pay respects and then hit some of the beautiful canyons and twisty roads in the area.
The ride should take about two hours to complete, so we should be back to the demo site right about dark.Things to bring: a full stomach, an empty bladder and a full tank of gas (no planned pit stops).

If you get separated from the group, follow the directions below and the map the back of this page.

Low Turnout

We made it and the weather and work cooperated. We had a great ride with the BRP and Road Warrior Foundation crew. We were the only 2 owners there however... I'm not sure if the word got out ahead of time enough. We don't recall seeing a sign for either the this ride or the demo rides at the booth down on Main Street. If it was there, a bigger one may have helped. We did see and have been seeing lots of Spyders around the area and in Sturgis when we venture up there. Hopefully next year we can spread the word and have a good turnout. I did get some pics and GoPro's the ride, but it might be a while before I get the video thing figured out here.

The 2 pictures are at the Demo area where the ride started. The other 3 are at Bridal Veil Falls which is a scenic stop part way through Spearfish Canyon. We had a great time and really appreciate the group leading the ride.
