• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have not seen a post about Sturgis yet, how many of you are heading out there? :doorag: Wife and I are heading out the 10th thru the 14th. Would be nice to meet up. Ride safe!!!

Good to Hear.....

Have a safe journey and enjoy the event...:2thumbs: see if one of you can get a picture and send it along to those who won'the make it...

OHHH:doorag: sounds like fun!! If you stop by the Rivco truck, tell them Josh sent you and you want to see some of the stuff they have on the spyders!! They should take care of you! Have a safe ride!! Wish I could've made the trip this year!

Looks to be a lot smaller than last year, Rapid City Journal said last night there were about 480 vendor licenses applied for compared to 700 some last year. The HD dealer in Rapid has probably 100 vendors on their site in Rapid City. Local realtor said only 20% of rental properties have been rented. The riding should be better with fewer bikes. Be careful there are lots of riders not paying attention and there are a number of crashes every year. Don't miss Vanocker Canyon. Spearfish Canyon, Old Hill City Rd, Iron Mtn Road the ride to Devils Tower from Spearfish is very nice too. Have fun.

Needles, Nemo Road, and the Custer Wildlife Loop are nice too...tons of great riding out here.

I've never been, but I hear enough stories, see enough videos about it. Doesn't sound like my kind of atmosphere, but I would like to see the sights. Getting away from the event to see those sights always seems to be the problem in a herd of HD's that big. :yikes:
