• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stupid Question ... cluster

effgjamis

Ride Forrest Ride!
I have looked in the op guide and service manual and I did not find an answer to my question.

Question is, what are the little circles almost at the top and almost at the bottom just left of the fuel bars on the cluster?

thank you.

They are supposed to be universal signs for Full (at the top) and Empty (at the bottom). Guess they aren't as universal as BRP thought. :2thumbs:

Exactly, but the easiest way is that the door is on the same side of the car as the fuel indicator is on the dash display.

Never noticed (or knew) that. The same side as the fuel gauge or the low fuel warning light or are those two things always together? I've never seen the arrow that M2Wild mentioned either.

A friend mentioned it to me. I didn't know, either, and was skeptical enough to check several vehicles before I believed it. Another "I'll be..." moment.

Sheesh - now I am gonna have to relocate my gas fill tube to the right side of my Spyder :dontknow:.

Maybe the standard on bikes is that the gauge is the opposite side of the fill nozzle. :D
On bikes they figure the fill is in the middle (and often visible) so it doesn't matter. Besides, the hose will always reach. Cars are the problem children.
