There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You notice he is not sticking his hand in the molten metal, but slapping it out of the way. Might give a small burn, but since he is slapping it away it will not stick to his skin to do any major damage.
When I was in my early 20's we would go to the beach, and have a camp fire. I would reach in, grab a small stick that was burning, and bite off a piece. The trick was to bite the coal part, and not the part that was burning. Yes, sometime I would get burnt, but most of the time no damage.
Amazing how many people I would freak out doing this trick, and yes I still have my teeth (the front ones at least).
