• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK,
I know I havent been very active, but some of you know I have been off the bike for awhile due to foot issues. I just got the OK last week to ride as long as Im wearing the new brace that is being made for me. I have also ordered the handbrake kit from ISCI and a Pingel shifter. I hope to have it all installed and my brace recieved by early January, so I can get back in shape to ride to Daytona next year.

Im sure once I get back into riding, Ill want to spend even more money, so watch out vendors! Here I come LOL:D

Glad you are going to be back in the saddle! Hope you are able to ryde all the places you want to go. :D

I can relate

Glad to hear you are doing well! I have been off my cycle since September due since I tore my right achilles off my right ankle....I am also hoping to have more mobility around the end of the year!
Best wishes for you recovery and here's towards some great ryding in 2010!

:yes: :yes::yes: and :congrats:

You will love the ISCI stuff! I saw them in Gatlinburg this year and their products are really high quality...plus...they are made in the U.S.A. !!! :2thumbs:

hey little john: plan on meeting you in daytona>> will u be coming to the fl scrc rally in lake city:yes:

Thanks All!!!
I know the IASCI stuff will be nice. I tried to con them into taking the handbrake prototype off the emo Spyder they had in Daytona last year!!! LOL

Not sure what my Daytona plans are this year. Theres a group of us that go and usually make it a trip for a week +, usually went to the keys, etc along the way. This year were headed straight for Daytona and renting a house for the entire week. I know Ill have a couple personal side trips to visit friends/family. I usually try to make the SCRC gathering at the lighthouse in Ponce Inlet while Im there if it coincides.
Im sure Ill see some of you!

OK, the ISCI Handbrake was waiting on my doorstep last night when I got home. I used a lazy day today to tear apart the Spyder and install the system.
WOW!
All I can say is ISCI really makes some nice stuff! The quality was some of the best Ive seen. Everything works as advertised.
Yes, it was pricey, but Id do it all over again.

All I need now is the shifter to show up and Ill get that on and get out on the road soon!

Thanks Billy for the speedy delivery and the superb craftsmanship.:2thumbs::clap::2excited::ohyea::yes::bowdown:

Glad to hear it, and thanks for the review on the ISCI quality as well. It always helps to hear first hand accounts of what a product is really like.

Well, I got the Pingel shifter installed and adjusted. Made sure it worked OK, then took the bike in to get it all up to speed on recalls, updates, etc, and have its 12000 mile svc done. Picked the bike up Saturday, and it still runs like a top! Didnt see any noticeabkle diference in the steering, and the engine still pulled hard and ran great!
The DPS was replaced as part of the recall.
I got one Check Engine light on the way home, but shut the bike off, gave a quick visual on a few items, and started it back up with no issues all the way home. Im figurin an air bubble somewhere since everything was flushed.
The bike is officially back on the road, now all I need is the brace for my left foot and Ill be rackin up the miles again.
Hope to see you guys out there soon!
