• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stuck in reverse

Hello everybody,

I have a 2009 can am spyder rs, I did an oil change and coolant flush about to days ago. Everything went smoothly with no issues, I pulled her out of the garage using the reverse switch and when I went to put her in 1st gear she would not change over, I tried other gears but with no success. Does anyone have any clues to what might be the issue. Please help!

The reverse actuating cable passes right next to the oil filter cover. Check to see you have not damaged it in any way.

You have not said whether or not it is an SE5 or SM5. If it is an SE5, it will be sensitive to the oil level. Check the oil level as per the Can Am procedure. to assure this is not the cause of the problem.

I am not conversant with the SM5 so I can't suggest any course of action.
