• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stuck in 5th

So is mine. Talked to dealer and it's back to "we don't know when it will be shipped"! I'm not a very happy owner right now.

Looks like there are cancelled motel reservation's in my future.

Talked to Carlos late today. He reported that the part I need should be in the dealers shop by the first of the week. Damn, that is good news. Something about on time delivery and underestimation of amount of this part needed. Seems there have been a few others with this problem, more than expected.

Missed a couple of weekends but maybe now I have a trustworthy spyder. I love this thing when it runs right!!!

That is the best advice I have ever heard regarding the RT. I hope that once we get past the throttle body, software updates, and all of the other issues we will have a fun and reliable machine.

I understand your issues. You pay a lot of money for something--and poof--it stops working.

Generally once the vehicle gets set up good the bugs get worked out. Give the dealer a chance to get it right--and you should be piling up the miles.

I have over 44,000 miles with no major problems so far.

Got her back yesterday. Approximately 40 miles no problems so far. Rain today, tomorrow, the next day, forecast.....rain for about a week. Damn....missed a couple of beautiful weekends.

Yeah!!! About 500 miles Sat and Sun, wet and wonderful, not one shifting problem. Rode to the first VA American Legion Riders Rally in Srasburg. Great group, beautiful setting, lots of rain especially the return trip. Rode 70 mile on the Skyline Drive, rained entire time but we still had a good time, a bunch of old guys through the twisties not in a hurry just having fun.
