Was riding home Tuesday and went to downshift due to slowing traffic and the Spyder sounded like it tried to downshift and then surged but the indicator would stay at 4.
Oil changed in late June, has about 10700 miles on it.
I searched the forum, found lots to check, like oil etc however nothing obvious.
So I have confirmed oil is present and not looking funny in any way.
I took the key out as I always do and it sat over night. Started it with my foot on the brake, it started without any problem, however the indicator continued to say 4. I tried to see if it would go into reverse no luck, so I shut it back down.
I do believe the dealer needs to see it, challenge will be getting it there especially if it won't come out of 4th, now I found the directions for trying to manually shift it into N which I have not tried as of yet, haven't had the time.
Is there anything I have overlooked before I attempt to put it in N and trailer it down?
Thanks in advance.
