• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

it happened my se5... even when i step on brake to start, it stays in 2nd
wasn't there a way to mechanically get it out of gear?
could the bb's in the handle bar cause this? i did put plastic tube in the left side first.
when i hit the paddle it does try to shift but huffs and puffs but no gear change and i hear it clicking when i am at stop. i am guessing spyder is trying to downshift to 1st.

i grabbed my 13m wrench and looked under the spyder and the transmission linkage was just dangling:yikes: somehow it was undone from the spindle.:dontknow: i put it back on and

I wonder what could have possibly happened to cause that? Perhaps the good folks at Dynojet forgot a little something? :dontknow: Speaking of which, did the tech get there to look at your Spyder yet? I am sort of running out of virtue. :D

i don't think dynojet had anything to do with the linkage.
i am thinking excessive vibration and/or my aggressive ryding habit and possibly the retaining bolt was not tightened at the factory.

engineer from dynojet main office is planing to fly in next week sometimes.
i am thinking jb pro and power commander is going be basically same except for power commander is only one able to use the "autotune" and lcd monitor.

I believe you are right on all of those issues. I hope you don't have any more troubles, and the engineer is able to resolve the current problem quickly and cleanly. Otherwise I may be looking to put a stock air filter back in my Spyder for a while.
