• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stopped Thundering Sunday night

With the Fall Thunder Beach Over we had a great time. gene0108 came up from South Louisiana, with his wife on there new Blue RT-S Friday and I met them at the Winn-Dixie, next to the road that would take them to the Bay Point Marriot.

Vendors were setup all over the Beach and we hit just about all of them. Traffic was slow going but living here, I know how to get around that and missed a lot of the traffic.

I wish wbbrn1952 and Sabunim5 could have come but, they couldn't make it work and there will be two more next year.

We had a great time and I met a few other's from Spyderlovers and soon we will have to welcome a new Spyder owner, to the Family at Spyderlovers.

I did take pictures and they came out blurry. I had my camera on the wrong setting but gene0108, took plenty plus movies.

We did see a lot more Spyder's here this year and most were Silver, with a few red ones and I had a long conversation with two HD owner's on Saturday, that showed an interest in the Spyder and another HD owner right after gene0108 arrived. He loved the RT-S and said he saw plenty of them in Sturges. He does a lot of traveling and the RT would fit him well.

It was great meeting gene0108 and his wife and I do hope they return next year and hopefully we can have a convoy of Spyder's from SpyderLovers, next year and in years to come.

couldn't make it

Sorry Cheryl and I didn't make it, but got home for SITS, but will look at making it next years.

Glad to hear you got to meet up with some other Spyder Lovers, and had a good time together. I am hoping to get down there some day as well.

Ed and Cheryl, I knew you went to SitS and Lamonts BBQ, along with adding some mods to your Phantom and there is only so much you can do.

There is always next year and the good thing is, you have a choice with one in the Spring and the other in the Fall. This past week was beautiful with daytime temps in the mid 80's to low 90s and nights were in the low to mid 70s with no rain. We got the rain weekend before.

Fall has arrived and daytime temps are in the 70s with night time temps dropping into the 50s.

Biker's started coming in on Monday and by Saturday, there had to be several thousand. Saw plenty of Spyder's this time and Silver Ruled, with Red and Blue ones following.

But, I will say that Thunder Beach, gets better every year with more activities and when you do get down here, you and your wife will both have a great time.
