• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

had to use bathroom ...so me and Dee stopped in at our dealer ... talked with paul dasilva for about an hour about spyders .. spyderlovers site mods ... people .... introduced him to lamont, doc, and forest (on factory website)
really liked the black and silver RSS ... and the white RT was cool too ...
still trying to talk me into trading mine in ...
we will see....:coffee:

I agree. But that aside, there should be a compelling reason for you to do so. Thinghs such as:

- Yours is showing its age
- It's starting to break more frequently
- You are just plain bored with yours (it happens!)
- You want to move up to a different model like the RT. (Though I somehow don't figure you as an RT kind of guy, I could be wrong on that one)
- Your internal clock is telling you it's time for a new one

And so on. My Brother gets a new car every 3 years. He is one of those that just gets bored and wants something new. Not a thing wrong with that. Keep us posted on what you decide to do!

BTW, the new RSS you mentioned is really nice. I saw one at my dealer's and had to just walk away. But in reality I could never get rid of 14. Could I?

How would that color scheme go with your new trailer? :dontknow:

Might be reason enough to keep your current one.

That's how it happens. :yikes: That Spyder :spyder:will just sneak up on ya when you're not lookin'

I was at the dealers on Wednesday to pick up our new RT622 trailer
and couldn't believe what I saw..... a beautiful Phantom!
I asked about it and he said he just got it in from another dealer.
It's a brand new 2009 Phantom; never been out of the box.

It was the Phantom Vaughn and I originally saw and went looking for.....
but were told none were available, so we ended up buying the RT then about a month later, the RS. And now the trailer.....

So be careful when you innocently :roflblack: :roflblack: stop in at the dealer . . . .
you never know when one of those little Spyders are gonna bite ya! :2thumbs::ohyea::thumbup:

Lamont assured me I can learned to drive an RT like an a&&hole
Just like indrive my gs like an a&&hole .... I love my Spyder but I did like the comfort of the rt and with new grand daughter on her way any day now and living out of state might be nice to get an RT for long hauls ... I don't know ... I guess I should think about buying a car ... Haven't had one in two years ... And riding Spyder all winter in new England is starting to beat me up a little ... Again we will see

I can see you on an RSS Jaime but I think the RT has too big of a windshield for you. I do understand though, when you talk about your new grandchild and such. Also, It was nice to read that I am not the only one getting a little tired of being a hard core winter driver. I do it, but it does seem to take more out of me than the first year.

This past winter seemed to be the worst of the 3 ..., again we will see
