stock pipe

anyone nootice thier stock pipe getting throatier sounding from when it was brand new? I got about 450 miles on now and today I noticed my pipe definately sounds deeper than it did when I first go it. actually since yesterday. Today I put on 140 miles and now it sounds deeper. It's not ALLOT by any means but its definately different than it was

Yea I noticed it on mine at 6800 miles and now i'm thinking i have a toasted exhaust gasket since i'm starting to get some popping from time to time when downshifting. Once or twice it was so loud i thought someone was shooting LOL

Check the exhaust gaskets from the header to the collector. The picture shows what was left of the right gasket and the new one I replaced it with.

What a difference after I replaced it. The one on the left was fine but I went ahead and replaced it as well.

I'm thinking about that as well. Been thinking about it more and more each day LOL. Just have to come up with the funds to make the switch LOL

Mine was popping when I first got it, and it has progressively worsened. The dealer's tech put sealer around the hindle pipe, but that did not fix it. Will have the header/collector gaskets checked out during the 3000 mile service (almost there already).

My question is could this make the spyder run hotter?

Never got more than 300 miles on the stock pipe - sounded like my zero-turn mower!

The Hindle is a great looking pipe and sounds nice too.
