• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

STILL RIDING ??

Went on my first ride of any distance today....needed to go to Central Florida Powersports to replace my am/fm antenna which I snapped off putting a cover on the bike.!!!! Anyway it was a ride of about 130 miles and went well. Thought the Spyder was pretty windy...looked down at my speedo and it said 75. This thing sure likes to run. Only had two oh s**t moments. One when a guy in front of me in stop and go traffic jammed on his brakes and I reached for the hand break.....the other on a long right hand sweep when I thought I was going to meet the uncoming traffic head on. I was out of position on the bike and just leaned into the corner and hugged the gas tank with my knees more..lessons learnt.

I love this Spyder!

Joked with the service techs at my dealer today-- they've got a special for winter bike storage, I said with all the Indian summer we've been having here in D.C., they must not be filling the garage. Turns out they've done brisk business, which only made me sadder. Anything above 40 degrees, it's pleasure riding time around here for me (I bought my heated gear for a reason!). Anything above the teens, it's commuting as usual. :coffee:

Year-round in Georgia

I ride year-round in Georgia. In fact, I gave my oldest daughter my truck when she started driving and just made my Spyder my main vehicle :doorag:!

Ryding

Elginspyder and I rode into Austin, weather in the 70s, then did some shopping, got in about 60 miles....was nice.:ohyea:

I am fortunate enough to spend winters in Mesa, Az, where it was in the high 70s today... So I was out with the pressure washer cleaning the RTS.... I live in Kansas during the summer, because its over 100 by 10 AM for most of the summer here.. So I ride all year.....

Yes, it sure is nice to ride year round in New Mexico.

We are fortunate to be able to ride year round here in New Mexico. Great riding weather here today, supposed to be 67 deg. and sunny.
Yes, it was a beautiful day. We are planning on taking a ride tomorrow. Have you heard of our Spyder club here in ABQ? If you want more information please let us know and we will send you the information. It would be wonderful to have another member.

When it's not rain ya we ride. Ppl look @me funny i tell them i can always put something on to get warm, & am safer in doing so, cant do crap to cool off! Having fun in parking lots playing holiday music, usually Charlie Brown get most smiles, few like Andy Williams classic christmas

Still riding? Yes.

Here in the land of fruits and nuts it's year 'round riding only taking days off for rain, which lately has been too rare.

Here we go again. Another 6 maybe more months of hibernation. Anybody still ridying out there ?? Be nice, I am sad.:(
The snow storm that North east got on Thursday( Thanksgiving) central Vermont got 12inchs. Also, today the temp. is 40 degrees, and cloudy. I am also sad, no spyder riding for me. Deanna

Still Riding in November in Canada

It's very unusual, but here in Peterborough Ontario Canada, we don't have any snow yet and today (Sunday) the temp got up to 10C
That's 50F for my US friends and went out for a ride. IT WAS GREAT. Got a lot of strange looks, like what is a guy doing riding a bike this time of the year. Well, I like to ride. If it's not to cold and the roads dry I will go out. Well, no snow and not cold, why not?
Maybe in a few days, I won't get many more chances till spring.
Enjoying while I can.:yes::2thumbs::)
