There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well mine had a 600 watt Shark with up-graded JBL speakers.....and a " WIRED REMOTE "..........Check on E-Bay........Mike :thumbup:

Any Pics? I too have an '08 GS and after hearing Lamonts stereo, I have decided to put a stereoon my "to do" list..
Also any tips and tricks or install issues would be awesome.

Here's a few pics of my install ..I had speakers mounted to mirror mount bolts with small spacers to raise brackets so as not to scratch mirror arm ..then I got a touring windshield ..moved speakers to present location ...not happy with touring windshield ..removed it but speaker mount holes all ready made ...I basically just put amp unit in trunk liner pocket .ran wires out under liner welting.ran remote up to bars ..double sided tape and there ya go ...oh yeah its power from my tank bag ..fused ...MP3 Bluetooth .sd card fm radio aux input

Alpine deck, wireless remote , hinged in trunk, still fit 2 helmuts inside , dwg waterproof speakers mounted on mirror stocks, Walmart rubber antenna mounted on the underside of ride. Awesome tuneage, still loving it . 08 GS, posted pics years ago.
