• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got my :spyder:back yesterday, after waiting three and a half weeks for a new dps unit. The first one they put in proved defective, had to wait for another one witch turned out to be OK,and also replaced the gear indicator sensor.I now have power steering:yes:after 7700 miles without it,had to get a hang on the new feel, and it's great.

:congrats:

Glad to hear you are up and running again. It should ride like a dream now that you actually have power steering.

power steering

I got my bike back yesterday and rode 150 miles today. When the shop did the update the computer died, they got another one and it wasn't any good after 20 miles. Third time it works and the spyder is better than ever. Easier steering, more response and it just runs better.

You've got me beat! I only went 7,600 miles before Lamont discovered I had no Power Steering....

It is a great feeling and does take some getting used to. I had problems oversteering in sharp turns after I got mine fixed till I adjusted to the new feel.
