Thanks Bob. I've been complaining some due to pulling to the right. Techs said they adjusted the sensor. Still pulls to right following lazer alignment. I suspect it's the tires.

There are 2 sensors that need to be reset after an alignment. The steering angle sensor, has been discussed in this thread. If it is not zeroed, it will not cause the Spyder to pull in either direction. It causes other problems. The other steering sensor is the torque sensor. It measures the input force to the handlebars. If it is not zeroed out, it will cause the Spyder to pull to one direction or the other depending on which way it is off.
I gather that when the angle sensor reads zero, and the wheels are pointing dead straight forward; the torque sensor should also be at zero? :dontknow:
Is this sensor adjustment an included part of a laser aglinment ?
 The weekend must be sneaking up on me...Nope!
The SAS tells tell the DPS and other systems which way the wheels are pointed. The torque sensor tell the DPS how much force is being put into the handlebars to make a turn. So you are going straight down the road the SAS is calibrated right and at zero. But if the torque sensor is not at zero and off far enough. The DPS will think you are trying to turn.

I thought that it sounded as if you agreed with my VERY in-expert guess:
Straight ahead, and the two sensors reading zero...
But you started out with a "nope?... :dontknow:
Can you tell me what I missed?pps:
Thanks for solving that mystery for me!
I guess that the Glucose from all of the "Halloween Taste-Testing"; is going to my head!

If you are going to a Can-Am dealer that does the ROLO alignment, they obviously will have BUDS. Most of the independents have BUDS, you can verify the status of that by going to http://www.spydercomfort.com/independant dealers.htm
